The Truth is Out There
Ask me anything   My name is Curran. 17 years old. I love my Lord and Savior Jesus more than anything. I really enjoy politics, and I'm super excited to vote for Mitt Romney this year! No big deal or anything, I've just been looking forward to this election my whole life :) Other things in life that make me happy are my family, my puppies, all star cheerleading, anything written by C.S. Lewis, coffee, photography, country and Christian music, traveling, world history, etc. Feel free to ask me about anything and I'll answer as best as I can :)


Oh, and my blog is named after one of my favorite quotes. "The truth is out there, but so are the lies" -Dana Scully (character on the X- Files). It's beautiful not because it's deep, but rather because it is a simple but powerful truth!

Rick Santorum Against Separation of Church and State? →

 

I’m a strong supporter of Rick Santorum and I’m a Christian. But this article about Rick’s views on Separation of Church and State made me sick. It’s possible that his words were taken out of context here. But if they weren’t, I completely disagree. The church was not meant to be an earthly kingdom, and there’s no place in the Bible that says we must be involved in government. The idea of a theocracy is pretty terrifying. It would eliminate our God given free will and turn people away from God. Nothing is more important than God, so we have to be careful how we represent Him here on earth. Not only is Rick’s view unconstitutional, but imposing God’s laws without showing His grace is unbiblical. Jesus even said “give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and give to God what is God’s.”
